Orthopedic practices are responding to the fast-changing healthcare industry by becoming far savvier about digital than ever before. As SIM Partners has noted often on our blog, orthopedic practices are increasingly mastering the art of harnessing the power of visual storytelling, social media, and many other forms of digital engagement. From April 22-25, the industry’s leading orthopedic providers will meet at the annual conference of the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) – and SIM Partners will be right there with them.
We’ve been helping healthcare providers strengthen their digital brands and improve patient access by improving their content, data, and experiences locally through our Velocity Health software solution. I just published an article in Becker’s Hospital Review, “5 Ways That Orthopedic Practices Can Succeed with Digital,” which applies some of our learnings from our client work. In the article, I discuss how orthopedic practices can build their businesses by improving their findability online, mastering social media, thinking visually, creating patient access, and capitalizing on referrals.
My SIM Partners colleagues and I look forward to learning more best practices like the ones I wrote about in Becker’s – and sharing our own – during this exciting conference. If you are in Indianapolis at the AAOE conference, I encourage you to stop by Booth 821 to compare notes with us about the industry. Check out my latest column. Tell me what I missed. Tell me what I got right. Let’s learn from each other at AAOE 2017.
